Little (presumably unintended) squeaks. He does it quite a lot. Maybe something to do with hard reeds?What do you mean by "chirping" @Bernie? Is there an example of this somewhere in one of his recordings?

I usually have my phone on random play in the car and this track came up yesterday. It's from an album called "Tour's End" by Oscar Peterson and Stan Getz, with Ray Brown and Herb Ellis in 1957. Who knew Stan Getz could play the blues like this ?
