Well
it seems I can no longer play music clips posted on the forum. There is no control bar along the bottom of the window.

Does the new forum host preclude anything so quaint as IE8?

There is a big PLAY button in the mid of the window, from here....

First favourite ballad coming to mind:

Charles Mingus Goodbye Porkpie Hat

A little bit of musical friction going on there. "It goes like this" "Err...beg to differ." No sign of Billy.

Just noticed/clicked/watched your tune. That's well cool man. Love watching people play and sing etc, after getting up and having a go myself last few months, I have an even greater appreciation. Hoping to have a couple rounds of "sugar" Tuesday night at jazz jam. Sort of cheating by using blues scale throughout......but gotta start somewhere.

My favorite ballad atm... Now that's a tough one...

I'm wrestling between Charles Mingus 'Invisible Lady' & the other one is also a Mingus composition called "Wierd Nightmare", it is however performed by our very own Aldevis!
The feel of theese 2 tunes is pretty much where I am at, ballad wise atm..
Since Aldevis version of "Wierd Nightmare" wasn't available for sharing, Invisible Lady it is:

Ballad of the month not too long ago.

The Billy I meant was Billy Strayhorn who wrote the song
