Thank you! For anyone wondering, Metallica's version is in EbminNice! I like the video effects and the fact that you did an alternate version. 🙂

Still waiting for my Bari to arrive! But I was tempted to wait, just to see if I could add a third part and try to lay down some riffs in the backing - love the metal stuff some people are able to do with the Bari! Enter Sandman is a good choice 🙂I was foolin around with my bari last week playing Enter Sandman. 🙂 Good fun!
Well Jared posted the country western and heavy-metal version. Would be cool to hear you’re Jon English version. Come on my good man give it a whack.Odd choice! I've been singing and playing this song on guitar for 35 years, with reference to the Jon English version, I've never much liked the Bob Segar version, he just doesn't put any feeling into it. I've never thought of the melody being sung by a saxophone though! I'll give it a go, is it permissible to include vocals?
Hi. Sorry, I've been a bit busy lately and haven't checked in. I have been waiting for equipment mostly, but I have practiced a bit on the pocket saxophone, apart from having to use a D for a high E, I found it fairly easy to stumble through. The tenor saxophone caused me a lot of neck pain, so I've been playing the pocket saxophone (Bb, same basic fingering), and waiting for my soprano to arrive, which finally happened this morning! I also ordered an audio interface, a condenser microphone kit, and a dynamic mic. The interface arrived, but then I found that the condenser mic doesn't work, and the dynamic mic hasn't arrived yet! I have no idea where my 58 is, somewhere with the band gear I guess/hope. I had planned to record in a similar fashion to JMoan, although I was debating whether to use the Metallica backing or the Bob Segar backing, with added guitar and vocals by me. I will definitely be recording it, but probably not by the end of March. I think it was a good track to pick, I've never even heard of most of the "standards" others have chosen, and I'd guess I'm not alone in that, it's not like you're likely to hear them unless you go searching for them, or join a saxophone forum!Well Jared posted the country western and heavy-metal version.
