As Pete said his...ah....my alto is a great horn.

Global sax trafficking - it's not what it used to be. By the way, ex-Kenny G's soprano still for sale, I'll throw in a curly wig and my entire Kenny G record collection for a grand total of 1000 Ben Franklins - if Clapton can get $500,000 for his Strat - what's Kenny's sax worth?

BTW ..I have no affiliation with GWind player

Well....its been a while since my appraisal of the GW piece (mines not the one in this sotw link).

I haven't gone off it!

That said I did always want an 8 tip opening (0.086") and it arrived today.
Initial thoughts were that they sounded pretty much identical until I got into the swing of things and accustomed to the 8 tip opening, then I realised again how the wider tip suits me.
My 8 is even better! :w00t:

The 7 is not officially for sale yet (the words back up spring to mind so its not in the yard sale)
Kinda hoping there isn't any interest ...I love back ups >:) can't have enough!
P.S. probably not even worth considering outside the UK ...go to GW himself.

I had a brand new 62 alto about 17 year's and my house got knocked off, well guess what they took!!!! I went up Newcastle to ask if any one had been in the music shop's and well i never,3 lads in there teen's got chased out of a shop, but they still had my sax.Well sick of my life.if only i could meet them! 😡 >.< >:)

oh and Lee - leave the purple logo on there!

Why would you want to do that, other than to prove it's one of the older, and obviously better ones (obviously, 'cos I've got one 😉 ) should you want to sell it? My purple logo came off within days of me buying the 62, partly because I knew I'd be keeping the horn, but mainly because it just looked so tackily 80's.

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
