I've just bought a tenor from eBay, a Corton Amati. I like them, they play well and are good value. I'm away from home, up in Yorkshire this week, but I'll collect it on Sunday. The seller lives quite close to me, so nice and convenient.
Anyway, nerd that I am, for years I've kept a spreadsheet of all the saxes I've owned. Lots have come and gone over the years, although I usually have about a dozen at any one time. Anyway, this Amati takes me over a momentous threshold. It's the hundredth sax I've owned. Good job I haven't kept them all, or I wouldn't be able to move for the things.
