Hi...It's just the room in the van setting up power sources etc. I guess it would be worth it for the website if needed but was looking at just having a simple option for feedback purposes. Just so as I can review timmings dynamics, etc,

I was thinking the H1 is all you really need for recording yourself in a caravan. Just plug in some ear buds and play it back immediately. Also doubles as a decent stereo mic for your other kit.

I've suggested, elsewhere, the H2 (and up) because , without much work, you can record the sax and backing separately (mic + line-in too 2 stereo tracks). That way you can have in headphones volume that suites playing; and mix them in, eg, Audacity for listening.

I have a much older model (~20 years old?). But mine can plug into a PC by USB, or you can take the SD card out and plug into a PC. Current ones probably work the same. You'll need to check the specs to be sure. But if there were no way to transfer the recordings, it would be pretty useless.

I am using Zoom R20 for importing backing tracks and the recording sax track followed by mix own.Plenty of effects on board ..worth looking at Gaz Render’s videos on youtube to see if this meets your needs…no computer required.
