As many of you know, over lockdown I kept busy playing with The Lockdown Jams, doing anything and everything that was thrown at me. Great fun, if sometimes a little challenging. I've also mentioned that we were really hoping to take the online band into the real world. With a lot of hard work by John, on keys, it looks like it's really happening.
There's a core band, The Legends Band, who then have different singers depending on the show. At the moment there's Tom Jones, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, Sinatra, Olly Murs and Bryan Adams. This is, as you've guessed from the title, a Springsteen video. The funny thing about this is that the sax recording was never meant to be heard by anyone other than a couple of people in the band as it was recorded purely to show something they'd been told was incorrect, which is one of the reasons why the song was learnt and recorded within 30 minutes (there are other reasons for it being done within 30 mins but that's to do with someone else's argument that I'm not remotely interested in getting involved with 😉). It's also why the solo's rather more staccato than it should be. Still pretty happy with it, though. 😎
