Hello,

Out on the web there seems to be a lot of resources for guitar players and piano players on how to work in the Barry Harris diminished 6th scale into your practice session.
I am looking for a workbook or .pdf that would give exercises for the scale with enclosures ascending and descending targeting the root, 3rd, 5th, and 6th of the scale.

Any help would be appreciated.

P.

Much the same answer to the same question you posted at SotW. The notes are the same - use whatever resources you find for whatever instrument. As I commented there, Jens Larsen does an excellent job on his YouTube channel to integrate lesson material into music. Many pdfs are available for free.

Here's a sample starter:

If you are looking a classic and inexpensive book for bebop scales and enclosures, check out David Baker's "How to Play Bebop 1".

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
