OK then. I like the recording of this song that Annie Ross made with Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker and just bass and drums so I tried something based on that. Same key (concert Ab) with my alto sort of standing in for Chet and Annie and my bari doing bits based on what Mulligan makes sound so effortless. BiaB supplied that double bass and drums.

Nice going Rhys on both takes. Emulating Gerry Mulligan is a tall order. But you did a good job of that duet.

You are a master at BiaB. Makes me want to get it at some point. But I'm already way to spread so I need to refrain from undertaking another playful activity.

My involvement with SOTM this month has piqued my curiosity about BIAB too... I might go and start a thread about it as don't want to divert this one too much...
