I almost didn't play for 5 weeks, but gave this very nice BOTM (and some SOTW TOTM tunes) a try last Friday evening. Fingers and embouchure are a bit rusty because of the lack of playing, so I used a very soft Plasticover 2 reed on my Florida no USA 10* mouthpiece. It's a free version because I didn't exactly remember how this tune goes and my reading is too bad to get that from the sheet music. Good that Chris and Guenne just showed me above how this really should be played, only too late for my recording! Anyhow, here is my take:
- 'Teach Me Tonight' (Florida no USA 10* - Plasticover 2):

Damn,
that sounds great!

Thanks, also loved your take!
Hehe,
got a "new" 254xxx Mark VII from England (woodwinddirect)
It arrived last Friday.
Guess what I'm planning to do this evening..
This song cries for alto.
Cheers,
Guenne
@U CAN CALL ME AL: nice one to get started with.
Maybe we'll get to hear one on that 12m in the coming weeks?
good job.
Have to agree, she was an amazing singer 🙂This track is growing on me more and more. I popped Teach Me Tonight in spotify and loads of versions old and new. I think Amy Winehouse is up there as one of the best.
Lovely Bari version and I'm not a lover of the BariI had a quick play at this one on Bari to try out a fibracell that's been sitting in my case for a while.
