What are 'clatter keys' on a Weltklang bari?

Noisy keywork/mechanism I think.

Correct. Forive my English! I mean that the keys were extremly noisy. After new pads, corks and felts the Weltklang sax played well.

You're right Jules, Weltklang is a great word, regardless of whether you pronounce it W- or V- eltklang, kind of an all-purpose mild expletive or expression of frustration for those hammer/thumb interface incidences or when the Lloyds ATM in Hemel breaks down just when you think it's all working ok. Again.

Back on topic; Rico Royal Mpc's - very easy, nice tone, not exceptional but good for the money (I paid about 20 quid at Pitch Perfect in Chesham).

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
