After a hint of spring, with few shy sunny days that saw a flourishing of flipflops and shorts, followed by characteristic lobster-red suntans, London is back to its usual greyness.
Ideal to enjoy the coziness of the White Hart enjoying or joining David Hammer's Hammers Jammers.
Musicians are always welcome on stage, unless their tune of choice is "Obladi Oblada", but even in that case, David Hammer's Hammer Jammers are cheap to corrupt.
For extra £50 I can even play "Feelings".
Many of you were worried by my difficult search for a flat. I managed to find one. On top of a Pub.
I consider this the most British experience for a foreigner, not involving football.
It is not far from Brick Lane, where everything is compulsorily vintage. Except human beings. It seems that humans never reach the status of "vintage" or "antique". We just get old and loose the ability of enjoying real fashionable coolness and clubbing.
Cheshire street (where, by the way "The Duke of Uke" moved) has the highest rate pro capite of vintage shops. It even sports a vintage beans cafe (I am not making this up).
In this vintage coolness galore, David Hammer's Hammers Jammers will also perform some vintage tunes from Cool Jazz Era. Jazz from an era when jazz was divided in "cool" and "hot" rather than "cool" and "uncool".
See you there, it will be great.

Since some friends pointed out that I often forget essential information like day or time, here is a more useful attempt:
Sunday, yes this coming Sunday. Sunday the 6th. 6th April of course, this very Sunday.
At round about 8:30pm, or 20:30 if you prefer. Sometimes we get excited because setting up goes smoothly and we start earlier. Some other times we start later, but half past eight is a good approximation.
At the White Hart, the one near Whitechapel station, not the other one.
The White Hart pub is located at 1 Mile End Road, Stepney, LONDON E1 4TP, on the corner of Cambridge Heath Road, just 300m east of Whitechapel Station (District Line plus Hammersmith & City Line tube services, plus London Overground East London Line). Also, Bethnal Green (Central Line) and Shadwell (DLR) stations are only a ten minute walk away, there are several bus routes right outside the pub, and even Boris bikes just across the street.
