First sound clip

I thought it was great and my only comment would be the same as visionari1's regarding 'swing'. But to make you feel better about that (!) I can tell you that my mum was a classical pianist (taught, got all her medals, etc.) all her life. Given a bit of sheet she could instantly play it. One day I passed the sheet for Oscar Peterson's Canadian Suite to her. No problem whatsoever with instantly playing the notes (except for a few grumbles about 'dis-chords!) ... but un-recognisable minus the 'swing' element. Personally I think 'swing' starts with what you independently do with your feet. Get the beat going solidly there, then 'tinker with it' when you blow. That doesn't sound very scientific but the best I can do!

First thing I'd say is that's a really nice recording quality you have there, I've always found it hard to get a decent recorded sax sound on the equipment I have so congrats on that.

Like other people have mentioned its a nice vibrato you've got there and very nice playing. Watermelon man would be a good shout to do, I always have to watch my intonation on it but good luck with your next one!

Thanks Taz, I added the htm and found it 😛

I will have a read, but I guess I need to hear it used along side a piece I play to understand it, it's not just improvising ?

Go easy. took me a while to work out how to do this, and about 10 goes till I was happy

A bit bright/high pitched but I did not want to mess with that till I know a bit more and wanted the sax as it sounds, I cleaned it up a bit/lot in audacity
