Other than the fact you didn't play the 'head' I think the 2nd one was better 'This One' just seemed to have a better feel to it. Both where good though Colin.

I used a different reverb and compression on each one. I'm just clicking stuff and seeing what happens at present. Thank heavens for the undo button. lol

Tried it twice and couldn't make up my mind

Hi Colin thought the first one you did sounded really nice, never liked the second one quite as much. If I could play either like that I'd be happy

Colin, thanks for listening. I've played this set of changes quite a lot, so I guess there is some truth in the statement about really knowing the chords..

The flute is often on the sax player's way!
I did not analize the notes, but great harmonic confidence indeed and vary tasty sax playing. Great version indeed.

Thanks Chris and Mr. Aldevis. I took your advice and did a mix minus flute and raised the sax up a bit. It is quite sparse in places.

(BTW agree with Nick regarding Chris's take - one of your best for sure!!😎) All the pros sound great...
