IOTM February 2014 IOTM- Pruple Bozza

Impro of the month
Other than the fact you didn't play the 'head' I think the 2nd one was better 'This One' just seemed to have a better feel to it. Both where good though Colin.

Chris..

I used a different reverb and compression on each one. I'm just clicking stuff and seeing what happens at present. Thank heavens for the undo button. lol

It's nice to hear you playing. It's really coming along.
What, you mean I have to think again? 😱

Hmm...

BTW nice laid back version, Chris.

Colin, thanks for listening. I've played this set of changes quite a lot, so I guess there is some truth in the statement about really knowing the chords..

Nick, only if you want to do another version, it can be addictive this recording lark>:). Thanks for the comment on my version..

Chris..

So many versions in little more than 24 hours?

I just listened to that little beauty from the great album "The Gentle Side Of Nick Wyver".
More classy than any of your posts 🙂

Thanks Chris and Mr. Aldevis.:thanks2: I took your advice and did a mix minus flute and raised the sax up a bit. It is quite sparse in places.

(BTW agree with Nick regarding Chris's take - one of your best for sure!!😎) All the pros sound great...:mrcool

just wondering how you replace the above link with text, like many folk here do on their posts?

And who placed piano on the backing track?

Hi

You have to use the chain link icon 9th in from the left above.

Paste the link in to the address, click insert and then you can edit over the link it brings up here.

Hope that makes sense 🙂

Well for all you lovers of all things 'Pruple' here is

'Pruple Bozza'

Chris.

Good one. Have you changed something tuning wise since last month? Everything sound more relaxed.

Mine was probably just envy for my poor flute skills.
Here is a little flute intermission:

Piano has been provided by some software entity living in Chris's computer (thanks again Chris for the BT)

I dragged the baritone kicking and screaming out of its box. After calming it down it produced this.

You are getting sweeter and sweeter. I am a bit worried: is everything alright 🙂?
Gorgeous version. Is that your usual Sennheiser microphone?
