JJ, well worth waiting for. Welcome to the BOTM thread🙂 Hopefully you'll be posting some more music in future threads?? Enjoyed listening to the track very laid back, definitely heard some Lester Young/ Ben Webster in there.

The Vox on the 2nd take are way superior IMHO Both are great however.

See the cheap microphone thread. It's worth a punt in my limited opinion. No effects, just a little reverb to match the backing track. It's such a relief to have a decent mic that records what you play in the room and not have to faff about adjusting your playing to get the best out of the equipment.

And three years later the BM800 has been retired in favour of a lucky find on ebay.
