Just to slow things down this time I have posted "Emily" with all you alto players in mind.Plus there is another funky backing track called "Bari Walk". Both are in the paid subscribers section.

This week two more tracks

I have just added two more backing tracks to the collection.They are Dolphin Dance..Plus Detour Ahead. You can thank Saxade :thumb:for this last one as I liked his playing of it I thought I would do a backing track..

Four New Tracks

This week there are four new tracks for you to play around with. They are "Fever""Full House""Easy Living" and "When Sunny Gets Blue". Full house is a Wes Montgomery tune in 3/4 time. Have fun and happy sax..

New mp3's and pdf's

This week I have posted a couple of things 1) an exercise for playing over the chords for Rhythmn Changes using swing quavers, there are two tracks for this, one @70 and one @140 bpm.. Next is the re-work of a standard. There are a couple of versions for this one for tenor and one for alto. Depending where you look for the melody to this I think this melody is a little easier to read, have fun. Any questions about what I have posted just pm me.

I don't know if anyone has noticed but all the backing tracks that I have been posting over the past few months, are now embedded in the website:thumb:, still in the " Paidsubcribers Section"
But instead of a link to a website, they are now Mp3's.:thumb: Thanks to that kind man Mr Thomas.:welldone:welldone

Thanks Chris. A big thanks to Pete to. You are doing us all a great service, but might I suggest you have another look at that stranger on the shore. He doesn't seem right to me.

I think he got lost somewhere in the move. Can't read a map. I've sent Pete a pm with a new link so hopefuly when he gets time he will sort it out.

@Wade Cornell Hi Wade glad you like them :) They have been around for a while, hopefully they might be useful for new and older players alike.Great to see you around the Cafe again:) I'll be checking out some of your sound clips you have been posting, see if I can get the EWI5000 (long story) to sound OK with them..

At the top of the Cafes home page look for "Support the Cafe". Click that and follow the link to "Extra resources/downloads". Then look for "Chris's Famous Backing Tracks". Click that and you will be able to download and save a .zip file with all the tracks (it's called BTS.zip, if I recall correctly).
