In Your Own Sweet way

This tune has just been posted in the paid subscribers section, two versions plus a pdf of the solo( transposed for tenor/Bb instruments), as well as an mp3 of the solo.

Here is a link for the solo mp3 www.box.net/shared/gaqfju4jau

Three new backing tracks

There are three new backing tracks in the paid subscribers sec. They are "Nature Boy","My One And Only" and "Work Song" by Nat Adderly. For the romantics out there "My One And Only " might go down well.;}

Cheers

Good one Chris,

I'll definately be in on "My One and only Love"
My favourite version is with John Coltrane & Johnnie Hartman.
Do you also have dots for Eb & Bb.

Sonny Rollins also does an awesome version which can be viewed on youtube.
Typing this on the bus heading into Wellington to go to his concert..... So getting excited!!!
Cheers

Let us know what what you think of the concert.... He was here in Aus ... but only on the East Coast ... A long way from the West... On reflection i should have bought Air Fares... Because this opportunity will not arise very often I fear :crying:

Hi Chris

Do you have Eb dots for these three easily available.

Really appreciate it if you do.

Many thanks

Martin

New Twist

This time round, after listening to some Bob Mintzer tunes eg "Papa Lips". I thought it might be good to put B3 organ into some of the backing tracks so I have just posted "Harlem Nocturne" "Round Midnight" and "Theme For Ernie", in the paid subscribers section. So those of you that wanted to play with a B3 now here is your chance. Let know what you think.

More up to date

This time round I thought I would try something away from jazz. So I have just posted " Tears In Heaven".In the "Paid subscribers sec" There are two versions, one is a full on backing track, guitars, strings, slide guitar etc. The other is a "lite" version more acoustic. I always felt That Nathan Easts bass playing on this track was more of a counter melody, so with that in mind the lite version has more of his bass part playing just in the places where there is no vocal line.Hopefully it will act as a guide as to where you are in the tune.Let me know what you think.

Chris

I've always liked this one Chris, if its not too much trouble do you have the dots, Bb and Eb
Thanks
Martin

Nice one Chris :) a great tune :welldone

Same here any chance of the dots Eb Bb

You are a star Chris, well done... I see what you mean about the keys though.... I can cope with lots of sharps, its when I see lots of flats my brain switches off...

I'll try them over the next few days..

Much appreciated

Martin

Sound great Chris - yes please for the dots!!

A touch of Elvis

For any "Elvis" fans I have just posted this " Can't Help Falling in Love". This track is in "The Paid Subscribers Section"
One or two ideas for future tracks would be kinda good :welldone

Cheers

Not like me at all

This is something that I have posted in the paid subscribers section. It is not my " normal" type of backing track. I just wanted to see what BiaB would do.It's called " Something Funky" and it does tend to groove very well;}. It should be fine for Alto and Tenor. Some feedback would be helpfull.:thankyou:
