I went along and crucified the Walstein Sop and a Tenor for a while a couple of weeks ago. I'm no expert, but they both played fine for me (almost a first timer on either). Obviously my endorsement isn't worth much, but I reckon if price is a big issue with you, then you could do a lot worse. Played the Soprano with the supplied mpc (don't even bother) and and then a yamaha mpc (hallelujah!). Only played the Tenor with the supplied mpc. I'd have liked to play an alto for comparison, as I'd taken my own mpc, but ran out of time. Nothing new to hear that the mpc makes a huge differance.
