Hi your playing and recording sound - as always - very professional to me as a very amateur tenor sax player.
It's just purely my (perhaps weird) personal taste. But I don't much enjoying listening to longer sax solo's (however good!). Unless there are longer 'breaks' along the way.
So just based on my 'personal listening tastes', I really enjoyed listening to the first 30 seconds or so of your recording. With great, simple improvisations that left plenty of 'space' for the backing track to come through. Shortly after that I got a bit bored (not by) but with your extended improvisation. Which (for me) kind of 'filled the space'. Which extended to the end of the track.
Don't get me wrong: IMHO its a very professional sax performance and recording! Your extended (and wonderful!) sax solo is just not to my personal listening tastes.
Personally, I just prefer shorter sax solo's, One's that start up, come to an end, take a short break and start up and end again. Preferably returning to the original musical theme (intro).
Just my humble, personal opinion as a 'listener',
Mike
