Maybe everybody already knows this, if not, it's a neat little piece of useful in Transcribe. Recently wanted to change speed and tempo of a piece and the best way was to use Transcribe but what I stumbled on was that it's possible to set the changes in the "Audio Effects and Controls" window and export the sound file with those settings included. I was then able to burn my results to CD to use as a play-along at the speed and in the key I wanted. kool.

That's very cool.

I have a different bit of software (Slowgold). It does the exact same things though it crashes if you put the CD in before opening the software and is terribly bug ridden.

I can make my own backing tracks like that too. It's very useful. Especially when learning new tunes (like Parker ones) and you can't or don't want to get them up at full tempo for the backing track.

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
