Ignore the barbs Tom. Many happy returns for tomorrow. 50 didn't hurt me at all. That's probably because of the large intake of alcohol to mark the occasion. What worries me is 60 next year. But I suppose the upside is that I will get my free bus pass to go to Jonathan Myall's shop in Croydon or even meet OG for tea in the Whitgift Centre - very civilised if you avoid the hoodies, wallet snatchers and crack smokers (or whatever they do with it).

I do believe I have a sax related pressie coming in the morning - just before the price increase!
I'll have to go gently into that Good Night, and start the great Hawaii in Garbie mode 8)
Just heard that today is the Prince of Wales' Birthday, with the National Anthem being played on BBC Radio 4.
From this, the only viable deduction is that Tom is really Old Jug Ears himself and he's not fifty but sixty.
Owain, please come down from the hills.
You share your birthday with my partner, I hope you're not her long lost tiwn brother she never had? I might try and straighten her floot out for her as a special treat!
Morning All, and many thanks for your kind greetings!
So far Soprano Sax, Ligature, V16 mouthpiece, ProTec soprano case, cuddly toy, Blackwood Gin, Talisker Whisky, Cake, and several others! Even the Chickens sent me a card (Pepsi & Shirley!).
