I use RJ 3s on my alto and 2m on my tenor there's so much difference between them and RR. Firstly as stated above much brighter.. They seem to be better for overtones and altissimo and they tend to last longer for me... Although I find about 3 of 5 are any good. Anyone tried these 'select cane' things? I got some for free for my alto and they're not meant to warp because of the special packet thing.. Well it's a lie! Played for three hours on one put it away got it out the next day and it was warped! Ah well guess we'll never find reeds that are actually reed and won't warp!
