Introduction "Pleased to make your acquaintance Oliver"

[Taz]

Hi this is my first posting here, My name's Pete and I'm 42. I've been playing tenor sax for just over three years. I'm curently playing with a band called "Cliff Topp and the Lemmings." We are a four piece rock'n'roll band and we just like to have fun. I play a 30 year old Amati tenor with a Runyon Quantum mouth piece and an Eddie Daniels Lig "For that extra scream!"
I live in the Rugby area, so if you fancy a night out in Rugby, check out our website at Lemmingsrock.co.uk and check out our Diary. (THAT'S NOT ME PLAYING RUDI'S ROCK)

There've been a few names in the annals of music similar in style e.g. Max Speed & the Dials, Tanya Hyde & the Tormentors, Dickie Hart & the Pacemakers etc

Young Sir,
Finally found your website, at my age it's a wonder if I find myself. Looked at the Cropredy gig pics which has raised a query.
You're not a covert member of Fairport, are you?

Hi Pete - we're right in the same neck of the woods, aren't we? My band (The Radiators) has played a few of the same venues as you, including Cropredy, and I've certainly heard of you - well, Cliff Top and the Lemmings isn't a name you forget easily, is it? The Wheatsheaf Braunston is just up the road from me - haven't played it in about 18 months, but that's a good sweaty ol' rock and roll dive. I'll come along next time you're there and make a nuisance of myself. 😛
