Let's hope it doesn't get to the stage where the lady says 'Either that thing goes or I do' :erm:

Now where have I heard that before....?

As you probably well know, Bobby, the secret is not to hear it... "pardon, dear, sorry didn't quite catch that, yeah let's talk later, I'm practising now... ouch!!!)

You guys are amazing !! When i posted here first time i couldnt believe that i would have such a feedback and friendy behaviour.I really appreciate that and you really deserve to be the first to know what really happened.. ! 🙂

And Bob believe me (answer to your words "that or me!") , even if i go crazy with the sax ( by the way i am eager to go home practicing!) i will owe that to her .. And that will be wonderful..

Cheer my friends

Well its been 15 days you havent hear from me eh??

As i told you i rent a sax but after a while i found an opportunity an bought a A901 Yani which i find excellent . Then i found a teacher and had lessons every day for a week (1 hour) . I am really crazy you think
eh?
My aim was a tune from a balad which is easy and i knew she like it ..
ok this Friday returned from abroad and i had everything set in my house: dim light , excellent dinner(thanks to catering !) candles soft music and the saxophone hidden in the other room !!

The dinner started very well with jokes and light atmosphere and i was really excited . Everythinhg was perfect ! When we finished we
took the red wine and two glasses and we sat in front of the
fireplace on the carpet... Pretty nice eh?? I was looking forward to suprise her with my tune !! And then you can t believe it....She told me that the trip she had apart from her job was a re-union with her husband, they were separated 1 year ago and blah blah...
Of course i knew nothing... And of couse i havent felt more stupid in my life before.. I said something like "this is excellent .." and after a while all magic was gone .. Of course i didnt play anything and after a while she left telling me that i am a wonderful man and she wished things were different.....
Anyway i am not in my best shape after that but i promised myself
to go on with the lessons as i trully love my sax .. Someday i will find
someone to share my tunes...

Cheers my friends,
Kostas

That's very sad, Kostas 🙁

But look on the bright side.... you have a great new hobby and a fine sax 🙂

Soon you'll need a stick to beat-off the women lusting after the 'sexy sax-player' 😛

Just keep practising.

After all that effort, bad luck.

Still as Roger said above there is a bright side and its very bright at that. Nice sax, great hobby, which I suppose you wouldn't necessarily have got into without her :S

Best of luck from now on.

Give it a couple of months then, reunions with ex rarely work.

(EDIT) I meant to add that even so, don't hold your breath. And sorry it didn't work out this time but as others have said there is a positive side. Welcome to the saxophone community.

Oh NO! 😱

Kostas, I'm really sorry that it turned out this way!

Put your energies into positive things (your new sax being one of these!) and move on with your life.

All the very best,

Frank
