playing my Walstein on youtube

You get a nice sound on your Walstein alto - I just got a bit dizzy watching your video - you appear to be busier than a dog burying a bone in a marble floor - I thought you were going to go walkabout a few times there, otherwise keep up the good work.
Regards,
Greg Strange.

I liked that ... nicely done ... and I quite liked the walking about, one day you'll be a sound man's nightmare (!). I wander around a lot too, even out the back door sometimes (no neighbours fortunately) it kinda adds to the inspiration! Good stuff, looking forward to the next one!

lol, I didn't put much effort into that it was just something I did to prove to myself my Walstein was in working order. Adjusting a spring I encountered a jammed screw and have to take the horn in now... but otherwise it's been fine. I like the Walstein but I will be honest I do have vintage horn cravings, I want a 6M/10M or Buescher Big B! But whenever I play the Walstein, I find it to be quite musical nonetheless, with acceptable action. So for now, I am playing it. I just ordered a tenor, backordered right now, so I really do believe in the quality and overall sound of them.

well, I suddenly got thinking, since my tenor is backordered, I emailed to cancel the order. I'm going to try to get a Conn 6M and keep the Walstein as a second alto.
