Tech/maintenance Need help with vintage horn

In blue: this screw ensures the synchronization of the two keys in red.
If the pads don't seal the holes airtight, you need a technician.

Ah yes that screw. I was told to sand the piece of cork there but it made no difference. There was some confusion.

Scatarophically speaking, a flute is very similar to a sax.

Flutes might be a gray area, with respect to blowing wind, to make music.
You breathe into a flute, and do not blow the air through, in/out.
Just excite the column of air within.
How do you go from pp to ff,
practice, once you learn to do that,

I had a curly (O-shaped) copper hunting horn as a kid, drove my parents nuts. Maybe that was the catalyst for my love of the sax.
