Yep. However, rotating the same favourites over... ahem, yes. Well, let's just say "quite a protracted length of time"(!) is not recommended!

I've opened my reserve box of RJS and ordered a couple more.

I find you can prolong the life of your favourite reed a little (kind of akin to boiling your bass strings when they get a bit dead-sounding); I give it a brisk 'file/scrape/rub-down' by agitating it rapidly across my bottom teeth for a minute or so, which seems to brighten it up somewhat. Of course the next step was discovering half a box of new reeds that all sounded fine so I threw the olduns out :erm:
