Yeah, I thought about doing that. Not worth the investment for a one-off part. Two hours start to finish. Had appointment to get my hair & nails done that afternoonTap- tap- tap...
I would be sorely tempted to try making a die set and pressing that into shape...
but then, I am hasty.

(Sorry, couldn't help myself.) 😀
But seriously, your hand made part looks well done, good enough to pass for OEM. It kind of reminds me of the days when they actually made saxophones by hand. (Le Blanc's Beaugnier factory, which crafted hand made instruments closed around 1971 because they could not compete price wise with other manufacturers using more modern factory methods.)
Regarding what the clothing guard looked like on my early 1950's Beaugnier Bari Sax that I showed my improvised one earlier in this thread. Following is a similar model tenor sax that one someone posted on SOTW , who @JayeNM clarified / corrected historical info:

Thus I gathered that the bari clothes guard must have been similar.

will be tickled pink!

I particularly liked the way you were able to fuse the new standoff with minimal disruption to the sax's patina. My work would have had a quarter to half dollar size clean spot with a slight burnt appearance to remaining lacquer from over-application of heat by my "oversized" Weller butane torch during the sweat soldering.I parted off the piece. Tinned the base. Minimal spot cleaned the body. Applied a smidgen of flux and wedged the part into place between Key and body.
Perfect, nope. Working yep. [...]
Actually it’s challenging not to disturb old dirt (aka patina). Too clean and shiny will standout.
