Yes they do - you have heard of the Honda Super Blackbird? Walstein have the Super Sparrow, 100cc, 2 cylinders, 75bhp, bronze cylinder heads, top speed 155 mph (250 kph), 0 - 62 mph (100 kph) in 1.5 seconds - it's what Smiffy needs around London - don't let Old Git near it. :laugh:

Anyway what's this 100 cc. Any other pillock remember Honda's 50 cc twin four stroke racer? Reached 22,000 rpm without blowing to win from Suzuki's MZ replica.

Just fondly remember be old beezer bantam 175 (the big one)
the only bike i ever had. The metal leg guards scraped on the road if cornered to fast

Yup. And it's big brother, the RC149, a 125cc racer with five cylinders. Nine speed gearbox, too.

They made those in two forms, those with BSA Bantam frames and the last ones had Triumph Tiger Cub running gear. Did you realise that the Bantam is a reversed image DKW engine, taken as a war reparation? No, thought not and we rejected the Volkswagen as a war reparation as it would never sell. Now you are really sorry that you asked.

I thought I might get a response from the President, Secretary, Treasurer and Founder member of the Croydon chapter of the notorious bikie gang Granny's Angels. :laugh:

NZs own Hugh Anderson back in the 1960s use to ride those small bikes with a bag load of gears. I have seen one in Sammy Miller's museum in south England near New Milton/Barton-on-Sea in the early 1990s. I think Honda built a 6 cylinder 250 road racer in the 1960s, Yamaha built a V4 250 two stroke in the late 1960s, and of course the AJS Porcupine, Gileria V8 500 in the 1950s.

Don't mention the Triumph Tiger Club! 😱

Sammy Miller. My trials bike Honda had Sammy's bits on it. Sammy did object and screamed loudly when we detached them.

Sammy Miller used to drive a rocket powered funny car to 350mph back in the '70s I think. Powered by a rocket from the lunar lander module.

Died some time back in an oil industry related accident IIRC.
