Hi Roger, sorry to see things didn't work out with the Selmer mpc, but it seems like the Van Doren could be ok. I guess living in Spain means you can't try before you buy?
Sometimes from the way something is described it seems as if it's going to suit
you but just doesn't feel right when you get it (I've had this experience with a top-drawer acoustic guitar and gone back to my comfy old cheapie, and don't talk to me about Yanagisawa metal pieces, I really couldn't get on with it!!), and very often you can tell almost immediately if it will be worth persevering with.
