Saxophone beginners First live gig

Played first live gig today, audience of 1.
She recognised one tune, Twinkle twinkle little star.
Molly is a proper critic, she thought that the rest of them were hilarious and laughed continuously.
She is 2 1/2 years old.🙂

Have you tried long tones to see if that makes her fall asleep?

No way, I aint got any brass. She's got a choice, sax, bass guitar, clarinet, keyboard, or in worst case ukulule. All those are currently in stock.

Visibly enjoying the music.

It doesnt get any better than this, so enjoy it whilst on such a roll.

PS do tell.... was there any knicker throwing?

thats a good sign. ( although it has never actually happened to me. I once had a close encounter with a beer mug though)

ive just about recovered now from those experiences , and it was 13 years ago.

The price of the instrument has little to do with it. A beginner on a saxophone would give a beginner on a violin a close run.
