Thank you kev, yes I had a good time recording that, it's a little closer tip than I normally play, it's a 5 as opposed to a 5*, but it has a lot of colours. That recording only shows one side of the PPT, I reckon I can get a lot more out of it no problem.

This tune has grown on me as I have tried to get acquainted with its harmony and beautifully simple melody. It proves to me once again that slow music is much harder than fast music. 🙂

Compared to others who have posted you are very quiet - I can hardly hear your sax ......

Thanks Sunray for that feedback. I do most of my sound work using headphones which don't represent an accurate volume through speakers. I need to remember that. It should be better now.

Thanks. I raised the volume quite a bit. Have you tried the same link again with the "rubbery ducky" background?

Check it again with the new upload and let me know if it is working. It sounds loud enough and well mixed through my set-up.

Some improvement on the backing track levels JBT - but very little, your playing in particular is very low and muffled ...

@jbtsax first one sounded ok to me on headphones, as does second one, quieter than David's & Aldevis's but could hear it ok. Second one is ok on speakers too 🙂

@jbtsax John, it sounds good. Perhaps a little quiet in the mix, BUT, for me that is more down to personal preference than sound engineering skills. Some guys like to have there sax sitting loud 'n' proud in your face some like it to float around the backing track so they can try and interact with the way the keys are comping instead of just ridding roughshod over everything. At the end of it's just cool to hear your play some of these ballads🙂

I just listened to your Summertime - stunning - sound is perfect on speakers and Headphones ...

Without altering anything at my end ...

I hear My Ship [Yellow Duck version] fine in earphones - but only the backing track and a barely audible sax on speakers ...

Played some of your other tracks on speakers - they sound fine ...
