Cafe-themed photo contest
I will propose a different theme each month.
I’m creating this fun activity to build a great atmosphere and encourage interaction; it’s a way to foster various activities among café members and liven things up a bit.
Voting is done via emoji reactions: the person with the most reactions wins and gets to choose the next theme.
You can only participate once per theme with a single image, though you are allowed to swap your image out (you cannot share two different images featuring different instruments).
Feel free to replace your photo whenever you like—no problem there.
One important rule, please: share a photo of your own horn—don't just grab one off the internet.
For example, if you don't own a Conn-O-Sax, don't share a photo of one; share only the instrument you actually have. You are welcome to suggest additional rules or ideas. The café theme could work like a little game: we share a photo, and the winner picks the next theme.
I’m choosing the first theme:
Theme 1: Silver (Share a photo of your wind instruments—specifically silver-plated, silver-colored, or silver-lacquered saxophones, or any other silver instrument; no gold, no black, just silver.)
I’m kicking things off with a "silver" themed photo: a shot of my perfectly curved Lyons & Healy (Couturier Ltd) "Vibrato" soprano stencil (circa 1924–1926) during a concert in Paris.
