Does this mean there are more US users, or merely that US users are cheap, and possibly feel entitled?

Also, there are no units on this graph. So is this 10 dollars compared to 10 cents (LOL), or is there more money involved? Since graphs are a pictorial way to present numerical information, there should be numbers…

There are numbers which I am happy to supply if people are interested (< $1 per day probably) but this part of the stats is more about zone comparisons.

Probably does mean that, but that isn’t surprising as the population is higher than most other countries.

Earnings from advert imprints? Click-throughs? Not necessarily by members/logged-in users?

USA has 5x the population of the UK but the "earnings" are only 2x... So the SEO is UK biased? Or the presented adverts?

I can’t answer that as I don’t have time to drill down into it. I don’t think it’s logged in users though.

... I'd also assume the yanks have more online-spending power so US advers would be more expensive, more revenue per imprint/click-through?

Edit:
Google AI says

Higher CPC and CPM:
The value of the US market means advertisers pay more for clicks and impressions than in many other countries.

Which would imply even lower page views in the US... And US oriented SEO is lacking

The user interface doesn't seem particularly helpful in distinguishing

OK, just rechecked for the last 30 days which is probably a more representative percentage. The SEO is not aimed at any kind of geographical zone. Regarding presented ads, I have applied filters to not show certain types, e.g dating, gambling...

That's actually quite interesting.

Yes there are likely more Sax players in the USA, with a larger population, and the school bands. Whilst the forum isn't directed at any specific country, it does seem (to me at least) that SOTW is more 'American' and the cafe is more 'British'.

As said the ad's served will be based on location... out of sheer curiosity how does that chart compare to the analytics of where visitors are from?

The only thing that might be skewing the USA figures, is bots trawling the site, although I don't know if that would draw an add impression?

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
