Wanted Brancher Alto Metal Ligature for Metal Mouthpiece.

As the title says, I'm looking to buy one these if anyone has one they are willing to sell.

Long shot I know but still looking for one of these, might consider other ligs that would fit a Brancher Metal alto mouthpiece.

I have a Brancher J21 Alto with the original ligature....maybe is the one you are looking for? I believe some chinese dealers do sell something similar maybe for metal soprano's?. I bought it one for alto, it fits normal rubber sizes not the typical metal...but soprano's should fit your brancher.

Thanks, not sure about the Chinese copies, they list them for tenor, alto and soprano and all have the same dimensions, i am looking for the alto metal but i'm not in a rush.

A couple of years ago I would had sold the whole J21 - too close for my taste...but like with many others, I've found out a good use to it - it's a very clean and agile MP. The one above is the Chinese copy - the plate is exaxtly the same as the original (but for the logo). I have also the Tenor version....in my view one of the best ligature design ever and going to find the Soprano version too.

I have the Brancher J21 with the fabric lig which is fine, i want the metal lig but its not my main mouthpiece so i'm in no rush.
The Brancher i have is the older J21 with the different baffle, not interested in the Chinese copy lig.

I didn't know there were different versions and baffles of the same? and why and what the difference and the need to switch from fabric lig to metal?
Anyhow, I've just found out this link Brancher Alto Mouthpiece Comparison
and the guy say exactly what I thought about this great MP - clean and very nimble on soft dynamics and one of the best sounding I have on the higher range - that's why I didn't sold it.
It's very easy producing a satisfying tone from the lower range but most players (beginners and intermediate) aren't happy on their higher range - this J21 is actually good fun going up there. This is an underrated MP and deserves more space...

It wouldn't make much sense selling this ligature alone - not from me not from anyone else (I guess). I think your better chance is to wait for someone to sell the whole lot (MP+lig+cap...and maybe the original packing too if you are lucky).
Then if you have a useful exchange eg. a rubber Beechler (medium/large chamber) I might top up the difference (other exchanges considered too).

The difference is the older Brancher Jazz has a deflector type baffle at the tip, newer has the straight low baffle.
I am not so desperate for the metal lig and its just i like the look of the metal one over the fabric, but it's not my main piece so not fussed either way.
