The end of the Breakfast Room

Sadly the breakfast room is going to be demolished.

But a new one will rise from the ashes!

Don't worry, if your heart skipped a beat then, my apologies.

I'm talking about the "breakfast room" in my house, not this site.

We will have the builders in to take a wall down and resite the current breakfast room (which is really just a dining/party/living/breakfast room)

Meanwhile here are some pics of the actual breakfast room, the first with the lovely Mrs Thomas.

I hope it goes to plan and is as stress-free as possible, and also doesn't turn into a 'Scottish Parliament' job i.e. taking five times as long as planned and coming in ten times over budget.

Phase I of the builders are cool. We have Brian and Ronnie. Ronnie plays a MKVI.

However what I really want is my own personal ATM machine in the new breakfast room. Shouldn't be too difficult should it?

Don't know, I just know him as Ronnie the Roofer. You're probably right. He's just ordered a yamaha, but going to keep his MKVI.

Is that the same Jess Roden who sung with Bronco, signed to Island, in the late 60's & early 70's. One of those under-rated bluesy-souly rock singers, like Mike Patto and Frankie Miller, who were around at the time.

Thats him!
I never knew Ronnie (who might be a roofer) Taylor played with
Jess Roden until I google'd southampton based blues man 'Bruce Roberts'
I have 'play it dirty play it class' and the horns aren't exactly over used but I have seen Ronnie live a few times and despite a tendancy to be very loud and bright in the mix usually. Sometimes too much !(coming from someone who loves horns to be heard) . Once I'm over that though, he doesn't lack feeling!
