Stagg

I've never played a Stagg sax, but I've used many various other Stagg products and haven't found them to inspire me or make me 'want' to play them again (Mainly the guitar family and percussion).

There have been some very positive reviews of the Stagg saxophones. Though you can never know until you try one for yourself.

i have played on a stagg

it felt like it was about to fall apart in my hands

thats my only real memory of it

i believe all their different ranges are made separately and just have a propriety label stuck on, so the people who make stagg horns have nothing to do with the people who make, say the music stands which are pretty usable if not confidence-inspiring

I have never heard a good word said about them 😉
here's a good word about them, they're very very cheap and- and- providing you recognise their limitations- would serve a beginner ok for a year or so. having said that they are pretty limited and I'm sure a fair few potential players have been put off by sounding rubbish as they progress (hence- 'providing you recognise their limitations')...
Ok- that's my best attempt at a good word!

Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
