Can anyone recommend a sax tech in the North-East? Or, at a push, anywhere in the North (proper North, not sissy Southern places like Manchester >:))?

Cheers.

Well if you can manage to close your eyes and hold your breath as you drive past Manchester we have a decent one in Cannock.

Oi! That's quite enough of that. Have you looked at a map lately? Newcastle (or wherever it is that almost-scottish Stevie lives) to Manchester is a hell of a drive. Let alone Cannock (as if anyone's wanted to go there since the Romans were foolish enough to route Watling Street that way). Pah! I almost choked on me black pudding when I read that.

Well the Romans were great people, They built a road from London to Newcastle and then decided to explore the North West, but once they reached Cannock they realized there was nothing more to see and turned West to Wales, LOL :)))

Hexham looks good. Not too far and I can take the missus out for the day. See the wall too, perhaps.

My brother's started to talk like that. He's a Sarf Lundunner like me but 30 years of living near Sunderland and teaching in South Shields has done it.
