Yeah tha guy Matt makes it look easy.
Anyone remember your first experience cooking bacon crispy while still in the frying pan !

Can you train the dog to wind the handle? Or is one-handed drill bit sharpening part of your repertoire? In old UK cars you have the +ve/-ve earth hassle with radios. One can insulate them and let them float, but it only takes one slip of the screwdriver... 🙂

I passed on the radios. Both had “Ford” on face. The others were to modern. But I didn’t leave empty handed. In the pile was a 1971 Pioneer TS32 cassette player. I have all the tools to service it. Mounts under dash. Pile had two 3” 8 Ohm speakers.
The bench grinder turns well. Purchase included a few extra stones, one decent “C” clamp, HDMI cable, bicycle rail ?, and a few bits of hard steel.

Dug is slow learner. I’ll try my luck sharpening drill bits one handed without a tool rest. Then place the bad bits and grinder in the “free” pile at my place next week 🤣.
Cassette deck it 12v Neg- Earth. Value in working condition is north of $100.

Maybe the hole at the top of the grinder is for a missing tool rest? We have one at our museum which works on a foot pedal which is just about useable. So with your bicycle stand, maybe all you need is the back half of an old pushbike, a belt sheave and a long bit of blue string. You can listen to cassettes while you sharpen 🙂
