Not my best playing (or recording) by any means. I enjoy this tune, which is unknown to me, but I do tend to freak out in the B section especially when soloing. Err, I may revisit this one with improvements hopefully!

Hi,

yes, I own a Bari too.
I hate practicing on this heavy piece of metal, and some years ago I have decided not to buy these expensive reeds, instead I am using Forestone Black Bamboos at the moment.

I played a nice version with my iPad, but forgot to push the Record button, so this is second best.
Listening to it I realized that somehow the recording is lacking of higher frequencies, so I equalized it, did a mixdown again, but this time the plugins failed to load or resetted to default value.
Recording on iOS 8.1 with Inter App Audio is extremely buggy at the moment...
Anyway, here it is...

In case someone is interested in my equipment: Yanagisawa 990 Bari, Pop/Jazz Neck, Vandoren B7 MPC, Forestone Black Bamboo MH reed, Vandoren Optimum Lig.

Recording equipment: iPad Air, Apogee Duet Interface, Nohype Audio LRM 1 microphone.

I'm having one of those days. The alto won't play in tune, the tenor is honking and the sop is being a new born lamb. I'm so glad I have the Baritone. I found some Selmer Soloist reeds lurking at the back of the drawer. I bought them in the 1980's from a shop that was closing down. I believe they are 1950's vintage. Only 3 left now.
