Minor

Hey guys I just posted on the cannonball adderley thread and thought I'd ask you guys another question, so I'll shoot. I'm tryin to find sax players that I really connect with (as we all are). On guitar i love playing the minor scales, and I was wondering if any of you could point me in the direction of any great minor scale playing sax players or albums, I like the melodic minor in jazz but I'm looking for that sad (and slow) stuff away from the jazz.
