Did anyone see the Michel Petrucciani & Power of Three movie on Sky TV the other night? - Oh my word, what a stunning show that was. Featuring Jim Hall and Wayne Shorter. Three titans of jazz performing at the peak of their game.

Michel was such an instinctive player, it's a sheer delight to hear his inventions in such a setting. I had heard these songs before but never seen the film they made. If you have never heard Michel Petrucciani's piano playing you are in for a huge treat.

I didn't see it, but Jim Hall's no slouch either. Neither is Wayne Shorter come to that, at least, Miles didn't think so!
