Mouthpieces Metal tenor mouthpiece

I use the Jumbo Java HR mpc on tenor, it is perhaps as Pete says a little on the edgy side, which is great for doing battle with loud guitarists and drummers who want everything louder than everything else, but I find it also backs off nicely too for a mellower sound, but still with enough edge to cut through. Personally, the mpc suits the way I play - the edge is always there, but not too harsh.

Cheers, Bob

I forgot the link earlier:

http://www.saxmpc.com/

You will get costs and ordering info on the site. No plating as they are rubber mouthpiececs.

I would warn you against buying one of these unless you really know what you want. I can't advise what is the best size tip opening, it's not to do with the instrument its to do with your playing. They are custom made so you talk to Ron who makes them and discuss exactly what you want. If you aren't sure then it would be best to get a stock mouthpiece (as you mentioned earlier Selmer or Dukoff), but I can't emphasise enough, you mmust try them out not just buy what soemone else recommendds unless they are your teacher and know your playing very well.
