Merry Christmas tunes

I meant to say...I'm trying a new way to play quicktime so that Internet Explorer doesn't do it's Active X whingey thing, can people please tell me if it's working? Ta.

Hi
Here is the premix of a simple song I'm producing for a great Canadian singer Doug Mallory - he also wrote the song.
You can hear 'Christmas Card' at http://www.myspace.com/brucecassidy
I'm playing EVI on it.
Also on the song Gazorkintime at the same address I'm playing a VL1-m soprano sax patch - you sax cats will hate it I imagine but it's one of the more successful sax emulation patches I think.
Very best and Merry Christmas to you all.
Bruce

By the way I may be posting this in the wrong place - if so please send me a 'correction' BC

Not working for me Pete - I don't get the active X thing, but I can't play the tunes since you added the second one.

OK that's useful (but annoying) to know. Do you have Quicktime? If not do you get a prompt to install Quicktime?

This probably means you can't hear any of the music or videos on my whole site then.

🙁 🙁 🙁

Aha, I've downloaded Quicktime and everything is fine (thanks very much Phil). I love the saxophone on the second one, that sound and those pitch bends, in my dreams I can play like that. In reality it's something to aspire to, but - and this I guess is the mark of a good teacher/communicator - I actually feel I could get there.

Nice one Pete!

Ah that explains it. I'd hoped that new code (as recommended by Apple to stop the Active X grumble) would prompt the user to download Quicktime if it's not there. Obviously not so I need to put a notice saying "Quicktime needed". How annoying.

Anyway thanks for your kind words.

Hi Pete,

I haven't got quicktime installed on this PC and I did get a prompt to install it from the apple website. I'll install it and have a listen tomorrow (bedtime now)

Paul
