Hi @Rob Pealing thanks for your reply. To be honest I should have given this a little more consideration and wondered why there have been so few posts to what is basically a simple melody. If you listen to my last post of alt + sop it is my usual busking key which is even 'sharper' if you know what I mean, and does include a key change at the end which we avoided here. Regards Al

I'll try playing the version for a Bb instrument, even though I have an alto, I realise the backing will not fit.

Sometimes tunes sit better in certain Keys Rob, also because the sotm isn't aimed directly at 'Beginners', key sig isn't always taken into account, if the original tune plays on both Bb and Eb saxes that is all the matters.🙂
If you really want/need a backing track that you can use with the Bb sheet playing an alto sax I'll try and sort one and add it to the original file.🙂

Just a quick update, the Box Folder now has an new track🙂 Which is in Bb. Therefore Eb players can use the Bb sheet.🙂 Bb players can use the sheet marked 'To All The Girls'.
No excuses now for anyone

Many thanks @Chris , the tune appeals to me, so I will make time to gradually get my fingers around it. It will not be quick 'cos I will put my homework first.
I appreciate that the BOTM & SOTM have to be tunes that will challenge and appeal to players of many different levels.

It's not that the monthly playing threads are for more experienced payers, it's just degree of difficulty eg #'s and b's doesn't come into it. Tunes just have to be in range for Bb and Eb saxes.🙂

Guys it's been very quiet round here this month?? Thanks to Alun ( @U CAN CALL ME AL ) for hosting and picking a rally good tune, you guys that have downloaded the backing tracks and not yet posted I hope you'll get round to it over the coming months as I know time can always interfere with plans.

Next months host has been picked and everything is in place, all I'll say is it's another great song🙂
