hi fellow nubees and sax enthusiasts,

I am ever so pleased and thought I should share this with you. I have just been logged on to a website (sorry if it has been mentioned here before) that explained to me in a visual format and with sound, what a traid is, quiet simply it's a chord and now I understand variations of these, I did read about triads i.e the root the third and the fifth but the essence of eluded me till now. I do recommend this site to any any complete novices looking for some knowledge and a little bit stuck.

Obviously this was just a tiny part of the site and I will be using it to explain the basic's of music theory again, it very useful

yeah, the features on that website come highly recommended from this forum, great since it's free.

I went as far as downloading the offline version so I can use it on the go when WiFi isn't available.

Those Ear-training tests are a B*****d, but a useful site when your computer isn't by the Joanna.

sounds like you need to be doing more of them then 😛

I've been monitoring my scores, it's gradually increased though I don't know if that's through practise or through use of play a longs which I haven't done much of before.

The feature I really like on the aural interval trainer is it shows you percentages of what you get wrong and your most common wrong answers. Really helpful stats.
