just a quicky - got into leeds

hey guys - bin away from here for a while (unfortunately this time for less fun reasons, mums bin in hospital very ill but is making full recovery all being well) Just thought I'd call in n say hi, n let you know I got into leeds.

Still very busy with new band, as well as huge graphics project, rehearsing nightly with a pit band for Hair 😉 (lets just say I like the second to last piece in the first half) and several essays, so not had much chance to get on here recently (sorry pete esspecially, I'm not just here for the free pages, and I will buy a copy of your cd after xmas when I've got some cash. honest. sounds very good from the clips btw)

As for a thread I saw about members CD's - hopefully once we've been gigging for a few months, say march time, hope to get a cd done, and if so I'll let you know.

Sorry to hear about your mum, hope she's ok really soon. Mums are a good thing!

Glad to see you are keeping busy with the playing, don't get too distracted by the onstage shenanigans in Hair. You'll go blind 😉

Hasn't Leeds been awarded 'most happenin town' or something? A friend of mine went up there a couple of weeks ago and had a great time, apparently there was some kind of jazz festival going on. Should be great Oli.

Wow, that's really early if it is university.
Normally you won't know until you get your grades in July/August.
(unless you got an unconditional offer!)

Leeds is great for music! I though about going there as well, but SUssex called a bit stronger, especially having an uncle there for free meals when money gets tight!

Am happy indeed, if not a little scared. Lol, know it'll be great, and it'll put me bit nearer home and things. If leeds is the "most happening town" I'll have gone from the sublime to the ridiculous moving from carlisle!

Carlisle! My friend Tom went to uni there to do art about 8 years ago, he reckoned it was at least 100 miles from anywhere. On the positive side he said the quiet and lack of anything happening helped him get in touch with his artistic muse.
