He died recently didn't he? Red River Rock is one of the tunes for me, I first discovered it aged about 19 right in the middle of my leftfield/prog rock time, and have loved it ever since. It's a desert island disc for me.

And how cool is that tour bus!?

Red River Rock and don't forget Rockin' Goose

Yeah, Rockin' Goose. Slightly more of a 'novelty' item than Red River Rock, but still a joy. But what tips it for me is that RRR has that glorious guitar break.

This is the sound of a few young guys just having fun and loving makng musicand it comes across so well - in a similar way I got the same feeling from hearing the very early Stones or Madness.

Most crucially though, Johnny Paris is such a rock'n'roll name! Quiff-tastic mate!
