Accessories Ergonomic saxophone straps

Thanks, I've had mine for 6 year now. And I have seen some well known brands just releasing this style. Chicken or egg?
I'm thinking of the Balam Back Strap made by Korean company Whimory which has been around for a good few years and is sold all over the world and is a conspicuously similar design to the "Adorence Lengthened Saxophone Shoulder Strap"

Boston Sax Shop are very heavy on the merchandise and their new 'Cloud Strap' seems to be along the same lines -there's a video from 2018 where the guys at Boston Sax Shop are showing how to adjust the Balam. 🤔

I looked it up, it's very interesting, and available in Europe.
Also found a review by Steve Neff, comparing this strap with the Saxholder and the JustJoe neckstrap.

Looking at Steve's review, I can echo most of his sentiments. My personal preference is still the Protec gel cushion strap - pretty much identical to the just Joe's, followed by the Adorence. which is just a little to big to carry around for gigs all the time. For me, the key is the gap between the gel cushions or anything that removes the pressure points on the cervical spine, which all of which do. And then it becomes a matter of weighting the pros and cons. To each his or her own.

I just got the Balam saxo strap (Whimory) for my fathers day.
Fist impressions are quite good, but I do have an issue with the strings comming from the shoulder straps that are digging into my upper ribs. Quite painfull actualy.
I tried to adjust the straps in different ways, but this keeps bothering me.
Anybody found a way to avoid this?

A couple of options are the Balam strap and the Vandoren harness:

Neither of those worked for me with a tenor
