Quite intriguing all of this. I've had my Mark VI for years now and know all the ins and outs of it. I'm finding out all sorts of new things on here. The measurement from top to bow is actually 21.5". I am so impressed someone spotted the lack of front F, I've been handling it and only just noticed!! Such a great forum.
Similar threads... or are they? Maybe not but they could be worth reading anyway 😀
